The Inez Campbell (Mother C) Memorial Education Fund
March 4, 1917 – May 6, 2013

Mother C

Mother C leading worship at church in Old Harbour (1960’s)

This fund is established to facilitate and augment educational opportunities for financially needy children in Port Antonio, Jamaica and its environs.

Mother C’s faith in God gave her a tremendous capacity to love. It is her love that compels her to say to any young child “study hard and behave”.  Mother C sacrificed for her children and other people’s children to get an education.  Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.  Mother C would not have this.

Mother C was a doer of good deeds and a sensible giver.  She always said, “the good that you do will follow you, and if not you then your children or your children’s children”.  She always said, “it is better to give than to receive”. One scripture she most often quoted is Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” She said, “you reap the fruits of the seed you sow”.

The Inez Campbell Memorial Fund is used to facilitate or augment elementary, secondary, vocational, or Bible schooling in the following ways:
